How to fix Products that fail when using Shopify?

This article will explain what you can expect once you have successfully synced your shopify store.

I've pressed sync - what now?

Leave it with us. Your products will be slowly imported into Creoate from your live store. By default these will be updated every two weeks. You do not need to hit resync or unsync - this process can take time depending on how many sellers are importing their catalogues.

How do I tell how many products I imported.

From October 25' onwards you will receive an email each time your shopify sync finishes giving you an overview of:
1. How many products were successfully created

2. How many products failed to create

3. How many products were created but are not yet live (Partial creation)

All of this is available in your dashboard in your Product-insights page.

This page can take up to 1 minute to load as there can be lots of data to show you. A simple example is below.

What do I do with my failed products?

Product catalogues are complex. Each seller has a different requirement and so we have tried to find a way to only create products that are optimised for sales on our platform.

You can see your failed products on you Product-insights page.

For example any products without mandatory information such as prices, variation types or descriptions will completely fail and cannot be created using Shopify.

What do I do with my partially successful products?

For example any products without mandatory information such as prices, images or descriptions will fail however we will create them in draft mode.

You can either edit these in Shopify, directly on the Creoate dashboard or using our bulk edit tool in order to ensure that these products have all of the mandatory information

Product Created but it doesnt have an image and so cannot go live Use our catalogue upload to input images for each product

Why should I?

1. Having more products inherently makes your brand more visible to users who are searching for specific items.

2. Having high quality products and descriptions have a 20-30x boost in terms of driving up new sales.

3. Retailers often tell us 'theres not enough information' about a product. Adding more information boosts your revenue.
