      Can I bulk upload my products to CREOATE?

      Yes, you can. Here's how it works.

      How does the bulk upload template work?

      Download the Template:

      • Go to the Products section of your CREOATE dashboard.

      • Click on 'Upload Catalogue' and you will be presented with an option ‘Download Template’ (available in Google Sheets or Excel format)

      Fill Out the Template:

      • Complete one row per product line.

      • Ensure each product has a unique SKU (for simple products) or a Parent SKU (for variable products).

      • Upload open image links (maximum of four per row)

      Upload the File:

      • Once your template is ready, go back to the Products section in your dashboard.
      • Click ‘Upload File’ and select the file you’ve just completed.

      Processing and Confirmation:

      • Once uploaded, you will see a message highlighted in green stating "Your file will be processed. This may take up to 24 hours". -  Most uploads are completed much quicker.

      • If there are any errors, you’ll be notified about what needs to be corrected. If the upload is successful, your products will be live within 24 hours.

        You'll find helpful instructions on the first tab of the template to guide you through each column.

        How do I know if I’ve filled in the template correctly?

        If any information in the mandatory columns is missing or formatted incorrectly, you’ll receive an error message when uploading. The message will highlight exactly what needs fixing.

        How do I handle SKUs for simple and variable products?

        For simple products, enter the SKU in the ‘SKU’ column.

        For variable products, enter the same reference for all variants in the ‘Parent SKU’ column, and the individual variant SKU in the ‘SKU’ column.

        Let's say you're selling a T-shirt in different sizes and colours.

        Parent SKU: Tshirt123

        Variants:

          • Size: Small, Colour: Red → SKU: Tshirt123-Small-Red

          • Size: Medium, Colour: Red → SKU: Tshirt123-Medium-Red

          • Size: Large, Colour: Red → SKU: Tshirt123-Large-Red

        In this case:

          • The Parent SKU (Tshirt123) is the same for all variants, while the SKU for each variant is unique (based on size and colour).

        How do I add images?

        You’ll need to upload open image links, with a maximum of four per product.

        To create an open link:

        1. Go to your website (or any publicly available page) where the image is visible.
        2. Right-click the image and select ‘Copy image address’.
        3. Paste the copied link into the ‘Image Links’ columns in the template

        Does bulk uploading override or replace my existing products?

        No, bulk uploading doesn’t delete existing products.

        Here’s what happens:

        • If you use an existing SKU, that existing product will be updated

        • If you use a new SKU, a new product will be created

        👉 Tip: Always double-check SKUs to avoid duplicates.

        I don’t have Excel. Can I still use the bulk upload tool?

        Yes! Download the catalogue as a Google Sheet.

        Once you’ve filled it in:

        1. Go to File > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)

        2. Upload that Excel file via the ‘Upload File’ button in your dashboard.
