Can I offer a discount?

Yes! We have two great ways for you to offer discounts to your retailers:

Option 1: Store-wide discounts

Store-wide discounts apply to all retailers who purchase orders from you. For example, if you set a 20% store-wide discount, every retailer will get 20% off their purchase.

How to enable store wide discounts: 

  1. Log into your account.
  2. On the left-hand side, you'll see a Gray column with several options. Click on Settings.
  3. You will be brought to your store settings. Scroll down to find the Enable store-wide discount option.
  4. Click the box to enable the discount. Two options will appear:
    • Minimum order amount: Set the minimum order amount the discount applies to.
    • Discount percentage: Set the discount percentage you wish to offer.
  5. After setting these options, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update Settings.

Note: The store-wide discount will remain active until you log back in and uncheck Enable store-wide discount.

Option 2: Retailers specific discounts

Retailer specific discounts are special discounts for your chosen set of retailer that allows you to provide "personalized pricing" tailored just for them!

How to enable retailer specific discounts: 

  1. Log into your seller account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Store.
  3. Tick the 'Enable storewide discount' checkbox. Fill in the discount values if you want to offer a discount to any retailer, otherwise leave them empty.
  4. Go to Personalised Pricing in the left side menu and create your personalised offers.

FAQs on Retailer specific discounts:

  1. Who can use it?

    1. Any seller on Creoate can use this feature.

    2. For retailers they will only receive a personalised price if the buyer has been submitted for the discount by the vendor.

  2. How does the discount impact calculations?

    1. This personalised pricing comes out of the vendor subtotal. This means that the value of the discount comes off of the sale price of the items. This will impact on the seller payout.

  3. Can I use a Creoate coupon alongside this Personalised pricing discount?

    1. Yes your retailer can also use a Creoate coupon to further reduce the price of the order. This will not impact the seller payout.

  4. Where can I create this code?

    1. Login as a seller. Go to Settings > Store settings > turn on storewide discount (you can choose to input no discount value)> Go to Personalised Pricing > activate personalised discount.

  5. Can I set 100% discount?

    1. Yes there is NO limit on the discount you can set so be careful when using this.

  6. Do I have to provide a MOV

    1. NO - leave this blank and will have no MOV.

  7. Why would I use this?

    1. If you have a negotiated price for specific sellers you can offer this.

    2. If you want to make the most of free shipping and DDP you can offer this to existing customers.

  8. What if I don’t know a retailers email?

    1. You need to ensure the retailer has agreed to this price and they will have to provide you with their email for GDPR reasons.

  9. Do retailers get notified when sellers assign personalised pricing?

    1. No, retailers do not receive automatic notifications when sellers assign personalised pricing. Seller will need to inform their buyers directly about any personalised discount.
