How do I integrate CREOATE with Shopify?

We are pleased to offer Shopify integration to help streamline your product management between CREOATE and Shopify. This integration allows you to sync your product listings, making it easier to manage your inventory across platforms.

What the Integration Can Do:

Product Syncing: You can import your product listings from Shopify into CREOATE. This makes it easier to set up and manage your CREOATE store with products that are already available on your Shopify store. 

Update your inventory: You can keep your existing stock count up to date and in line between us and your shopify store.

How to Use the Integration:

Go to your Vendor Dashboard > Products tab > Import.

You will need to get your Shopify URL and token from Shopify Settings.

Not sure how to get your Shopify URL?

The easiest way to find the URL is by going to your store admin page. Once you log in, you will see it in the browser address bar. It's the name after the "store/", for example in the URL "https://admin.shopify.com/store/creoate"

"Creoate" is the Shopify domain (i.e., https://creoate.myshopify.com - this is what you need to input for the URL). (Please note there is no www.)

Note -  If you have the incorrect shopify API Access you will see this error message. Make sure you have enabled both read and write on products, files  & inventory API access.

Once completed, you will be asked a few questions:

  1.   What WSP % to assign your products. (most stores only support RRP)
  2.   What Price conversion you want to set per product from £ to $ or
  3.   What category you want to assign your products to (Only 1 can be chosen)
  4.   Click Sync -  Products will be created in the next hour.

These become your Shopify Store Settings and can be used for any new products that re created.

Whats next?

Once connected, you can import your products from Shopify to CREOATE. Review and adjust product details as needed to ensure they match your desired setup on CREOATE. Any new products will be created with these settings.

How do I keep my store up to date?

We will automatically trigger an update of your store every 7-10 days to ensure that your stock is up to date and any new products are automatically created in our store.

You should log in every 7-10 days to ensure your products are created in the way that you want and to make sure that they have:

1. Up to date Images

2. Up to date Descriptions

3. Up to date dimensions

4. Up to date pack size and order quantity.

Note - We will not update the price or Category of your product when we sync shopify. This is so that you can customise your setup to suit creoate and to tailor your pricing so that its not a single setting for your whole store. If you want to change the Wholesale Price, Retailer price or Category of a product - we will not overwrite it!

Note - If you want to make mass updates to more than 20 products at 1 time - try our bulk upload feature. You can download your catalogue into an excel file and re-upload with the correct information. More information available here

Features currently not supported:

1. Some Variable Products:

The integration does not support all variation types.

2. Order Tracking:

Orders placed on CREOATE cannot be automatically pushed into Shopify. This requires manual entry of orders into your Shopify system to ensure they are processed and tracked appropriately.
