A product with tracked inventory will allow you to see how stock decreases as customers buy your products, helping you plan your re-stocking process. You’ll need to set inventory when you have more available.
When a product has inventory tracking enabled and reaches 0 stock, it’ll be displayed as ‘Out of stock’ in your store.
