Shopify Sync FAQ

This Shopify integration feature may not be enabled for our older vendors (you cannot see the Import icon on the Products tab within the Dashboard)

To enable it, please reach out to our support team via live chat. Simply visit our website and click on the blue live chat button located at the bottom-right corner of the page.

Can I have more than one variation type for a product?

No, our system supports only one variation type per product. For example, you may select either Colour or Size, but not both simultaneously.

What types of product variations are supported?

We only allow the use of supported variations. For a comprehensive list of these, please refer to the Supported Variations page.

How are products categorised upon synchronisation with Creoate?

All products are assigned to a single category when synced to Creoate. Once the sync is complete, you may update the category via the dashboard by disabling the sync option. However, please note that subsequent resyncs will only affect inventory, not the full product information.

Example: If a Shopify store has categories such as: Home, Garden, Chairs, etc...

All products will be synced under one Creoate category, for example, “Home and Garden”.

What happens when I resync products?

During a resync, only inventory levels and product status are updated. Other product details, such as images, descriptions, and pricing, must be managed within CREOATE and will not be updated via Shopify.

Can product information be modified after the initial sync?

Yes, after the product has been synced, you can update its category, description, and price within the Creoate dashboard. However, future syncs will only adjust inventory and status.
